Crawl1Dungeon Crawl is a 3D first person dungeon crawler for the Tandy TRS-80 MC-10 and Jim Gerrie’s new game.

Your peace-loving community is  being ravaged by the denizens of a pit fiend who has taken up residence at the bottom of a nearby dungeon. He has bewitched a range of creatures, including prior unwary adventurers. You  must search his 3 level lair and defeat him!

Inside the dungeon you’ll find more than a dozen different creatures. Some of these creatures will, once defeated, drop items that will help you advance in your quest.

orb2Brian Pîcchi presents the second part of Deadly Orbs for the  Apple II. The game makes use of the BASIC expansion Doublevision for double high res graphics.

The alien orbs are back!

And our knight must get into the alien ship to stop them before they destroy his village.

Use joystick to control the game:

Atack: Button 2

Use teleporter: Down

The archive contains two autoboot disk images (.do ProDOS) the first one (ORBS2.do) contains the game entry for the competition.
The second disk (ORBS2_ed.do) contains a version of the game with Electric Duet music. This version uses a small M.L. routine and as such it is not intented for the competition.

Games: Battle Bots by Jim Gerrie

Batlbot3Battle Bots, a TRS-80 MC-10 game based on the concept of the classic RobotWar is the new entry by Jim Gerrie.

In the game we should program our robot to fight another robot in a 10 round battle.
For that porpuse we have available 9 different commands to create our 10 step program.
After every round we can refine our program.
For one or two players.

Games: The Deadly Orbs by Brian Picchi

In Brian Picchi’s new Apple II game you control a knight that must fight orb shaped aliens.

In this action game you must first manage to reunite the knight with his sword and then proceed to kill the alien.
Difficulty  increases with each level, the alien also becomes more dangerous, starting to shoot lasers and moving in increasingly complex patterns.

Use 4,5,6 and 8 keys, or joystick to control the game, button 2 to jump, button 1 to use your sword.

Games:A Romp in the Garden by Jim Gerrie

Jim Gerrie’s new game is a TRS-80 MC-10 port of the game ‘Garden’ for the Apple II, itself based on ‘Happening in the Garden’ for the Pravetz 8D.

The game objetive is guide your character through the garden stepping on as much grass as possible and destroying all the flowers while avoiding the watchdog.

Extra points awarded for guiding the dog to a bone.

The game is controlled with the keys W-A-S-Z.

The archive contains the .c10 tape image for use with the emulator, the source code in text format and a text file with the delvelopment history.

To load the game on the emulator, type CLOAD<enter> then go to “File->Play Cassette file…” menu and select the ROMP.C10 file, once loaded, type RUN<enter> to play.
Another option is to use the “File-> Quick Type” menu to load the source code file: ROMP10.TXT
